Yankee Valor, trained in the USA by Ron Gurfein, won the $55,000 Premio Regione Autonoma Friuli-Venezia Giulia at the Trieste racetrack on Saturday afternoon, November 12.

Now trained by Eduardo Gubellini, Yankee Valor aws 17-1 in the Premio Regione. Driver Arnoldo Pollini was in the sulky for the victory behind the son of Self Possessed. Yankee Valor was timed in 2:02.4 and won by two lengths. He was a $170,000 yearling, and had $47,324 in earnings& a 1:56 record before shipping to Italy.
