Peck enjoyed the best season of his career in 2008 with more than $1.2 million in earnings, thanks in large part to Muscle Hill, the Dan Patch Award winner as the sport’s leading freshman trotting colt. The son of Muscles Yankee banked $817,301 and captured the Breeders Crown, Peter Haughton Memorial and the New Jersey Sire Stakes final.
Peck first gained national recognition in 2006 when 3-year-old pacing colt Palone Ranger won the $546,830 Messenger Stakes at Yonkers. Still active as a top free-for-all pacer, Palone Ranger has earned more than $1.2 million in his career for Peck. Another top horse for this part-time but successful conditioner was 2007 NJSS champion 3-year-old filly pacer Lady Mattgalane.
