Eternal Camnation Heads to the Breeding Shed October 4, 2004 By Kimberly Rinker
Harness racing's all-time leading money-winning female pacer is calling it quits. After winning over $3.7 million, at age seven, Eternal Camnation will hang up her bridle after this weekend's start at the Red Mile in Lexington, Kentucky. From 101 starts she's had 47 victories for owners The Eternal Camnation Stable. Originally purchased for $35,000 as a yearling (under the name Allamerican Coin), she is owned in partnership by Jeff and Lori Miller and Doc and Dorothy Miller.
Like her famous sire, Cam Fella, Eternal Camnation has a list of accolades, including being named top Aged Pacing Mare of 2002 and 2003, and champion Two-Year-Old Filly Pacer of 1999. Trained throughout her career by Jeff Miller, she was driven in most of her outings by Eric Ledford.
