Stillings & Palone To Halls Of Fame March 16, 2008 Two Halls of Fame have tapped a pair of prominent drivers--Dick Stillings and Dave Palone--at The Meadows for induction. Dick Stillings has been named to the Washington-Greene County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. Among his many accomplishments, Stillings won the 1987 Little Brown Jug with Jaguar Spur and the 1986 Adios with Barberry Spur. Dave Palone has been named to the Pittsburgh Chapter of the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame. Palone, a four-time winner of the prestigious Harness Tracks of America "Driver of the Year" award, is one of only three drivers in the history of North American harness racing with 12,000 wins. His induction is set for March 30 in Pittsburgh. |
