Bouchard Has Best Year Ever

December 7, 2007

Montreal native Stephane Bouchard has surpassed his former career best totals in both wins and earnings this year. Bouchard, who now resides in Goshen, New York, now has 785 wins this year, better than his previous career high of 754 set in 2001.

The 40 year-old has won $7.4 million this year, his best season by far in terms of purses won. His previous best of just over $5 million was also in 2001, the same year he was named HTA’s Driver of the Year.

Bourchard currently sits third in North America among drivers in terms of races won, behind Tim Tetrick and Tony Morgan, and has won 180 more races than the fourth place Peter Wrenn.
