Moiseyev Gets Win #9,000
Jack Moiseyev became part of harness racing history Saturday night when he collected the 9,000th win of his career in the final race at Woodbine Racetrack. Moiseyev waited until the last possible moment as he guided Coast Highway to victory in the 11th and final race. The Western Hanover gelding rallied from off the pace to score in 1:53.1.

The 47-year-old New Jersey native became just the 10th driver in harness racing history to reach the historic plateau. He is also a part of harness racing's elite $100 million club. A former leading driver in North America, Moiseyev has won many of the sports biggest races including the Hambletonian, Meadowlands Pace and Little Brown Jug. He was the HTA's Driver Of The Year in 1993. Moiseyev is off to a solid start this season and currently sits 7th in the WEG driver standings.

Jeff Gregory Notches Career Victory #5,000
Jeff Gregory drove in one race at Freehold Raceway Thursday afternoon and he made the most of it, capturing career win number 5,000 in the eighth race driving Classic Flyer N to victory. The 40 year-old Gregory, who began his driving career in 1983, enjoyed career bests in 2004 in wins (581) and money won ($4,546,739).

Tony Morgan drove four winners; Tim Tetrick and Roger Plante posted triples Saturday at Dover Downs.

Greg Grismore sat behind a quartet of winners on the dozen-race dossier Saturday night at Yonkers Raceway.

Steve Smith scored five victories in eight starts at Freehold Raceway on Friday, March 23. Earlier this month, Smith captured career win number 2,000. Smith is scheduled to drive in five races at Freehold on Saturday. Live racing begins at 12:30pm.

Andy Miller scored five wins Thursday night at The Meadowlands.

Stephane Bouchard reined four winners on the Monticello afternoon card.

Brent Holland had three winners Thursday night at Maywood.

George Napolitano, Jr. won all of the five qualifiers on Tuesday (March 20), Napolitano came back to win four of the five qualifying races on Thursday morning (March 22) too.
