The $184,425 Dexter Cup Trot final for three-year-olds features Great George Two, who faces a powerful, four-horse entry. The son of Hobokenbahamamamas, a $25,000 supplementary entry, was very impressive in his Dexter elimination last week when he scored a pacesetting win in 1:58.3. After a successful juvenile campaign which saw him win 4 of 7 starts, the trainee of Bib Roberts has won all four of his outings this season and has banked $35,194.

However, the heavy favorite in the Dexter final is the Doherty trained-Antonacci owned entry of Lindy Five Hundred, Clearaway, Manopoly and Armbro Copenhagen. Each of the four comes into the final off an in-the-money finish in their Dexter elims, held last Saturday.

Lindy Five Hundred--a Lindy Lane colt--led at every quarter of his Dexter elim, scoring a 1:58.4 victory by four and a half lengths. Clearaway, a gelded son of Yankee Glide, has been no worse than second in each of his six starts this year, and closed well to finish second to his stablemate, Lindy Five Hundred, in last week’s elimination. Manopoly, a Jimmy Takter trainee finished second to Great George Two in his elimination. The son of Malabar Man was a solid stakes performer at two, earning $78,671 while winning four races. Completing the four-horse coupling is Armbro Copenhagen, a Malabar Man gelding who has won three of six starts this season and was third behind Great George Two and Manopoly in last week’s elimination.

Cutler Eliminations at The Meadowlands Tonight
Hurri Kane Billy G stormed to a 1:53 clocking in the first (Race Two) of a pair of $40,000 Arthur J Cutler Memorial Trots on Friday night at The Meadowlands. With Yannick Gingras at the controls, Hurri Kane Billy G sat in the two-hole behind the leading Sand Vic (Trond Smedshammer) through fractions of :28.1, :56.1 and 1:24.1 before posting a :28.2 final brush to win by a length and a quarter over his rival, who finished second. Hellava Hush (Cat Manzi) got up for third as the public's choice, beaten two and a half lengths. The complete order of finish is just to the right of this story.

Mr Muscleman used a well-timed backstretch move to take control of his Cutler Elim and never looked back, scoring in 1:54.2 for driver Ron Pierce. It was the second straight victory for the five-year-old Muscles Yankee gelding, who easily held off the challenging Hez Striking (David Miller) in second, with HP Paque (Trond Smedshammer) in third and Hunt M Down (Brian Sears) nailing fourth. Fractions for the mile were :28, :56.4 and 1:27.2. The order of finish is at the right of this story.
