Debbie Harmer
Debbie Harmer is the backbone behind the successful Harmer Stable that is housed at Maywood Park racetrack in Chicago. Debbie--who grew up in a harness racing family (her brother is the top New York driver Mickey McNicole)--assists husband Tom Harmer in both the training and management of their large stable of pacers and trotters located on the Maywood park backside in barns B3 & B2.
Debbie, 48, was born in New York City and obtained her Provision driving license in the late-1970s, but then concentrated her efforts on training in the early to mid-1990s. She has trained a total of 125 winners to the tune of $1.1 million to date. |
