Contract for Maywood & Balmoral is Finalized

The 2006 contract between Maywood & Balmoral Parks and the IHHA has been finalized as of 7 pm this evening (Thursday, January 5, 2006). The IHHA Board of Directors voted 15 to nothing to endorse the 2006 contract, which sees 70% of recapture deferred to new legislation with a seven-year sunset clause, while the racetracks will take 30% of recapture from the 2006 purses.
