Seeyouinmydreams captured the second of two $20,000 divisions of the Complex Series on Friday night at the Meadowlands. He held off a fast charging Pandarin Duck for a head victory in 1:51 flat with Crazy For Ever third. David Scharf, Lightning 5 Stable, Shoot The Moon Stable and Meadow Vernon Stable purchased Seeyouinmydreams for $70,000 on Monday at the Tattersalls Mixed Sale. The five-year-old son of Grinfromeartoear will be among the 10 to advance to the $80,000 Complex Final on January 28.

In the first Complex division Bolero Taishi benefited from a pocket trip to get up for a neck victory over Sand Sax in 1:51.1, with Mr Delite third. Bolero Taishi, driven by Daniel Dube, is owned by trainer Daniel Martin of La Presentation, Quebec. The son of The Panderosa posted his first win in three starts this year.

In four $18,000 divisions of the Clyde Hirt Series, winning efforts were turned in by Deliver The Goods, George At Bigs, Ideal Lover and He’s A Nice Guy. The top 10 money earners in the two rounds of preliminary races will advance to the $85,000 Clyde Hirt Final on January 27.

Deliver The Goods won by a length over Smoky Bonz in a lifetime best of 1:51.2. George At Bigs got up in the final strides to win by a neck over Real Hanover in 1:52.2.
Ideal Lover drew off to a two and three-quarter-length victory over Landscapist to pick up his second straight victory. He’s A Nice Guy scored his second straight Hirt victory in 1:52.2, finishing a half-length ahead of Khaki’s Feather.
