Complex Series Heat Up at The Big M
January 12, 2007
In the first two of the three $20,000 divisions of the Complex Series, Daniel Dube guided both winners - White Hot Cards and Super Eighty Eight. There was also a quartet of $18,000 divisions of the opening leg of the Clyde Hirt Series. Both three-week series conclude with a $90,000 estimated finals - the Hirt on January 26 and the Complex on January 27.
Also on Friday night, Miss Galvinator posted her 11th straight victory in a $35,000 winners-over pace for fillies and mares, at the Meadowlands. Miss Galvinator paced a lifetime best mile of 1:50.3, for a half-length tally over Dreams Are Great. Up Front Dragonfly was third.
Driven by Yannick Gingras and trained by Ettore Annunziata, the eight-year-old daughter of Fake Left races for Richard Annunziata of Mahopac, New York. The Australian-bred mare started her streak on October 16, 2006 at Monticello. She now has 46 victories and nearly $500,000 in career earnings. She is being pointed toward the Cape & Cutter Series, which begins February 9, and the Overbid Series, which begins on March 9.
