Classic Wish was a member of both the U.S. Harness Racing Hall of Fame and Canadian Hall of Fame, and deservedly so.

On the racetrack Classic Wish won 26 races, earned $436,273 and took a lifetime mark of 1:52 in a time trial at The Red Mile in Lexington. She was also a multiple Ontario Sire Stakes winner.
After her racing days were over, she retired to Winbak Farm's broodmare shed and her first foal, Bettor’s Delight p,3, 1:49.4, who won the 2000 Breeders Crown and Little Brown Jug.

Her third foal was No Pan Intended p,3, 1:50.3 ($1,581,735), the 2003 Horse of the Year and the 10th pacing Triple Crown champion. She also produced the 2010 Little Brown Jug heat winner Classic Rock Nroll p,3, 1:50.4h.

Other offspring include her now 3-year-old son Roll With Joe p,2, 1:53.1 ($155,377), No Wishes p, 1:51.4z ($373,503) and a yearling filly by Rocknroll Hanover. Classic Wish was a 100 per cent producer with her offspring earning over $5 million dollars.

Winbak general manager Garrett Bell said, “As a broodmare, she was the perfect mother, an easy keeper, so to speak. She was a happy and healthy mare who was a pleasure to be around. She truly was one in a million. She will be sorely missed.”

On March 16, 2011, the 21-year-old Classic Wish passed away giving birth to a Somebeachsomewhere colt, who surivived and is doing well. Classic Wish was interned at Winbak Farm of Maryland next to Margies Melody, the dam of the great Nililator, and the thoroughbred mares Natalma, dam of Northern Dancer, Fleur, dam of The Minstrel and Flaming Page, dam of Nijinsky II and Minsky.
