Cape & Cutter to Artbitration

Artbitration burst through an opening late in the lane to win the fifth race $35,000 Cape & Cutter Series division on Friday night at the Meadowlands. Driven by Pat Berry, Artbitration set a mark of 1:52 as she held off the late rally of Loyal Opposition to win the event for open pacing mares. Odds On Charmaine who was parked out most of the mile, held on for third.

The Cape & Cutter victory was the first in four starts this season for four-year-old Artbitration. Norm Parker trains and co-owns the mare with Thomas Klosky of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Artbitration has won 13 of her 30 career starts and earned $403,683.
