a bay filly by Muscles Yankee--Blue Ridge Girl--Supergill
Winning Trainer: Trond Smedshammer
Winning Owner: Barry B Goldstein of Hewlett, New York
The Skinny: It was the fifth win of the season Blur and gave back to back victories for the Sears-Smedshammer connection. "There were a few leaving out of there, which I figured," Sears said. "We got some soft fractions, which didn't hurt us either." "This filly is pretty sound and fresh for this late in the year," trainer Smedshammer said. "She's not the most rugged filly around and she's had some soundness issues, so I don't know if she'll race next year or not yet."   Blur is a full sister to Odds On Tammy---currently in foal to Windsong's Legacy.
