Bono Bests Wins Big M Feature
Bono Bests narrowly eclipsed the competition to win the $42,000 conditioned pace on Saturday night at the Meadowlands.

Driven by David Miller and trained by Ross Croghan, Bono Bests rallied in the stretch and edged out Manhardt at the wire to win by a head in 1:50.2. It was two and three quarters of a length back to South Park Hanover in third. Bono Best paid $25.20 to win.

The five-year-old gelded son of Pro Bono Best posted his fourth victory of the year in his eighth start and increased his lifetime earnings to $353,645 for Herbert Burns III of Wallkill, NY and Stephen Demeter of Tarrytown, NY.

Symphony In Motion Wins Jersey Girl Final
Symphony In Motion got the win in the $69,400 Jersey Girls final Thursday night at The Big M. Brian Sears and Symphony In Motion surged past in the final strides for a half-length decision in a stakes record of 1:51.4. Larry Remmen trains Symphony In Motion, a four-year old Bettors Delight mare, for owners Joseph Jannuzzell and Carol Demarch. This was her seventh win in nine starts in her 2008 campaign.
