National Harness Handicapping Championship

The Meadowlands will host its final qualifier for the 2007 National Harness Handicapping Championship, which features a $50,000 guaranteed first prize, on Saturday, March 17.

To enter, players are required to purchase a $100 betting card; limit two entries per person. The contest format consists of 10 Meadowlands races; minimum $10 per race, no maximum bet. Wagers must be win only, one horse per race. Contestants keep all pari-mutuel winnings.

The winner receives the entry fee and bankroll [$1,000 total] for the 2007 National Harness Handicapping Championship on Saturday, April 21, 2007. Second through fifth places earn the $600 NHHC entry fee only. [Players are responsible for the $400 bankroll on date of contest].

Participants in the 2007 NHHC include: The Meadows, Mohawk, Balmoral Park, Freehold Raceway, Harrington Raceway, Bangor Raceway, Sacramento Harness Association at Cal-Expo and Los Alamitos, Western Regional OTB/Batavia Downs, Capital OTB/Albany Teletheater, Winticket.com, Nassau OTB/Race Palace, Brandywine Turf Club and Mohegan Sun.
